Drawing reference from a plaster-based sculpture, the Faustine table light combines a jesmonite base with an abaca fibre and linen-covered shade. The graphic silhouette of its faceted base is accentuated by fine recessed lines, seen repeated in the bronze metalwork frame of the shade. When illuminated, the fanned form of its shade gently diffuses light to highlight the simplistic yet striking silhouette below.
